Having been ready to renew their subscription, the person in question noticed that they were being given a 25 percent discount for said renewal.

Well, then they realised they were being offered that same discount again, seemingly bestowing them with “unlimited” discounts for PS Plus.

“I can extend it to 2026 now and so on...” their Reddit post reads, along with a screenshot to confirm their claims.
Considering the number of brilliant titles PlayStation players are getting for May’s collection of free games, now seems like an apt time to take advantage of any discounts. You know, before the service starts disappointing fans again.
Apparently, though, we needn’t be in a rush to grab these hefty price cuts; “They [Sony] let everyone. You can buy it for the next 20 years if you want,” explained someone who’s learnt to play the system and play it well.
It would seem discounts are commonplace – or are they?

What is more, those same people speculate it’s because of the tier of service they pay for.
“That's not the case for having extra,” one post reads.
Another said, “Never got one either, stupidly bought monthly and been paying the full price.”
