PlayStation Plus users can currently download and play one of 2023's best and most original games for free.
It's been a solid run for PlayStation Plus users over the last few weeks thanks to some genuinely amazing games on the Essential, Extra, and Premium tiers. Essential subscribers can currently grab PGA Tour 2K23, Dreams, and Death’s Door. Meanwhile, Extra subscribers can get their grubby little mitts on a further 17 games, including the 9/10 RPG Sea Of Stars.

While we wait to hear what the PlayStation Plus free games of September (which are all but confirmed to include the 2022 Saints Row reboot) have in store for us, there's one other bonus you won't want to miss.

If you're after something bright, colourful and fun then PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers can currently download and play a two-hour free trial for LEGO 2K Drive. Released back in March, this imaginative racer probably isn't going to be talked about in the same conversations as Baldur's Gate 3 and Starfield come the end of the year, but it's a blast all the same.
We gave the game a respectable 8/10 in our review, calling it a top-notch racer that's more than meets the eye.
"LEGO 2K Drive is, to use a LEGO classic, awesome," we wrote. "The automatic morphing between vehicles is a stroke of genius - keeping races varied and entertaining.
"Each track offers a new challenge, and the various hubs of Bricklandia are certain to keep you busy for hours on end, all whilst honing your skills at the same time. Topped with LEGO’s signature humour, the story campaign is exactly what you’d hope to find in a LEGO game. LEGO 2K Drive is a classic in the making. Visual Concepts have cruised along the track to victory."
