A new banner advertising PlayStation Plus has revealed one of the next games joining the service, and fans will either love it or hate it.
PlayStation Plus is in a difficult spot at the moment, as fans believe the content it currently offers simply isn’t worth the price, which recently increased thanks to a sneaky price-hike.
One title joining PS Plus this month is The Callisto Project, check it out below
The latest free monthly games for October have only exacerbated things, and the latest additions to the Extra game library haven’t helped either.

Now though, it seems PlayStation Plus is set to receive its next major AAA game, though it’s certainly a controversial choice.
A new banner for PlayStation’s subscription service suggests The Last Of Us: Part 2 will soon be joining PS Plus Extra, or perhaps as a trial for PS Plus Premium. This was shared on Twitter by @TCMF2, who said: “On the banner, it includes Last of Us Part 2 alongside Horizon 2 and Hogwarts Legacy. Horizon 2 is already on the service. Hogwarts Legacy has a trial which leaves Last of Us Part 2 looking set to be added to the service.”
The Naughty Dog game is renowned for causing controversy amongst fans, with some believing it to be the perfect sequel to its predecessor, and others believing it to be a boring misstep for the series.
That divide was definitely felt with reactions to its addition on PlayStation Plus.

“Not even worth it for free.”
“Amazing game, glad more people can try it out.”
“I’d prefer The Last Of Us: Part One remake instead”
This news also comes after a leak regarding a remaster of The Last Of Us: Part 2 for PlayStation 5, which was accidentally confirmed via a Naughty Dog LinkedIn profile. It seems the PlayStation 4 version will be added to PS Plus, and will then be followed by an announcement for the remaster.
