PlayStation Plus free 30 month subscription available now, but you don't have long

PlayStation Plus free 30 month subscription available now, but you don't have long

Get involved before it's too late

If you want to be in with a chance to not worry about paying for PlayStation Plus for a while, then you’ll want to participate in this competition.

PlayStation Plus is available in three tiers: Essential, Extra, and Premium. The PS Plus Essential tier is the same offer as before the 2022 revision, offering access to online gaming, a selection of additional games each month, and exclusive DLC and discounts.

As for PlayStation Plus Extra, it offers tons of additional games from the PS5 and PS4 as well as everything included in the Essential tier.

PlayStation Plus Premium offers everything included in the previous two tiers but with the addition of retro classic games from the PS1, PS2, PS3 and PS Vita eras. Oh, and it even includes cloud streaming, trials, and much more.

This week, Sony announced the new titles coming to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium this month, and they includes the likes of Sonic Frontiers, Forspoken, and Jurassic World Evolution 2.

The higher the tier that you subscribe to, the more money it will cost. However, thanks to this PlayStation 30th anniversary competition from Sony, you can claim a whopping 30 months of PS Plus Premium for free, if you’re lucky enough to win.

As detailed on the PlayStation blog, to be in with a chance of winning a 30-month PS Plus Premium subscription, all you have to do is play any game from the Classics Catalogue before 23 December 2024 and you will automatically be entered into the sweepstakes.

The only caveat to entering this competition is that you already need to be subscribing to PlayStation Plus Premium to access the Classics Catalogue, as the previous two tiers do not grant that access.

If you’re eligible to enter the PlayStation 30th anniversary sweepstakes, we wish you good luck.
