Considered to be a hyper-realistic RPG, Chernobylite puts you in the shoes of Igor, a physicist and ex-employee of the Chernobyl Power Plant, returning to Pripyat to investigate the mysterious disappearance of his fiancée, 30 years prior.
As you can imagine, the town of Pripyat is filled with soldiers, stalkers, and supernatural creatures spawned from the disaster.
Danger is always around the corner waiting is a shady corner to devour you or kill you in this PlayStation Plus hit. Thankfully you have a base to fall back to, one that can be built from scratch.
Leaning into the survival aspects of the genre, you’ll create your base and make sure that everything you need is under one safe roof.

Whether it’s crafting benches to build traps, or a weapon station to improve your gear, you’ll need to keep up with the construction efforts in order to survive.
Another side of the game to be celebrated is the companion system and sending them out or working with them to scour the ruined landscape for resources.
You’ll be in the thick of the action more often than not, whether that’s in an action-packed shootout, or stealthing through an enemy camp.
This is one game that will scare the pants off you if you aren’t prepared and you’ll die in the muddy puddles of radiation wishing you’d put more effort into creating better weapons.
