PlayStation Plus subscribers surprised with bonus May freebie

One of the benefits of subscribing to services such as PlayStation Plus and Xbox Game Pass is that you also get bonus goodies such as free DLC no matter the tier.

Subscribers of Sony’s PlayStation Plus can claim a plethora of free and exclusive DLC for the likes of Call of Duty: Warzone, Apex Legends, Fortnite, and much more. As for the free PS Plus DLC that is the topic of today’s discussion, it’s one for EA Sports FC 24 fans.

EA Sports FC 24 is the first game for Electronic Arts since it dropped the FIFA name from its brand but to be perfectly honest, other than its name, it’s still a FIFA game. Not much has changed, it still plays the same, it looks the same and if you sniff it, it probably smells the same too.

This month, EA Sports FC 24 was one of the latest games included in the PlayStation Plus Essential tier for May 2024 along with Ghostrunner 2 and the charming Tunic. However, PS Plus subscribers can claim the ‘Football Ultimate Team Starter Pack’ right now.

The free EA Sports FC 24 PlayStation Plus DLC can be downloaded either from your PS5 or PS4 dashboard underneath the game logo or via the PS Plus tab in the store. It can also be accessed via the PlayStation Store website.

The FUT Starter Pack DLC includes 11 82+ players (untradeable) and an ICON Loan Player Pick for seven games. If you play EA Sports FC 24 and subscribe to PS Plus, you might as well claim this free DLC.

Who knows, you might even get Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappé or Erling Haaland. I mean, you probably won't, but there’s still a chance. EA Sports FC 24 is out now on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
