PlayStation might finally be remastering one of the PlayStation 4’s best games, bringing it to new-gen consoles and PC.
We’ve already seen what a PlayStation 5 remaster can do for games like The Last Of Us Part II and Marvel’s Spider-Man and fans have plenty of suggestions for other Sony exclusives that deserve a port and fresh coat of paint. One such game is Gravity Rush 2, and it’s believed a remaster is indeed on the way later this year.
Take a look at Gravity Rush 2 below.
If for whatever reason you’ve never played a Gravity Rush game, they’re action-adventures where the characters can control the gravity around them. This doesn’t mean they can fly, more so that they can fall in whichever direction gravity is pulling them. It also gives them the ability to walk up surfaces they usually couldn’t, and provide the drop (literally) on enemies out to get you.

Both games are available on the PlayStation Store, as well as PlayStation Plus depending on your membership. The first game eventually received a remaster but the second wasn’t so lucky, until now.
As reported by a Reddit user, a leaker has indicated a remaster of Gravity Rush 2 for PS5 and PC is on the way and will tie-in with the upcoming film currently in development. The leaker said to ”expect some news in May” and also believes Sony is aiming for a “late summer release”.
Obviously, take this with a pinch of salt, but given all the remasters Sony has been churning out over the past few years, it’d certainly make sense to give Gravity Rush 2 another spot in the limelight, especially following its popularity on the PS4.
If the leaks are credible, we can expect to hear news of Gravity Rush 2 Remastered sometime in the next few months, with a PS5 release sometime this year that’ll be followed by a PC port.
