If you have a PlayStation, one of four specific games, and a good attitude, you can currently claim yourself a little extra free store credit. Those first two things are non-negotiable. The third would just be a bonus.
As I'm sure you know, PlayStation has its very own loyalty system called PlayStation Stars, through which you can bag your share of free downloads and, every now and then, points that can be traded in for free store credit.
Earning these points is typically as easy as making a certain purchase or loading up a specific game on a specific date. At the time of writing, you can net yourself a tidy 50 points if you buy any one of the PSVR2 titles:
- Legendary Tales
- Pavlov
- Arizona Sunshine 2
- Beat the Beats VR
Obviously to get the most out of this you'll probably want to, you know, own a PSVR2 headset. But if you're hell-bent on simply claiming points with no concept of turning a profit, I guess you could just go rogue and buy a game you have no way of playing. It's your life.

You can also get your hands on an additional 50 points if you play one of April's PlayStation Plus free games before the end of the month. If you've forgotten what those are, they're:
- Immortals of Aveum
- Minecraft Legends
- Skul: The Hero Slayer
Oh, and you can get another 50 bonus points by playing any one of the following four games:
- Days Gone
- Death Stranding
- Doom Eternal
- NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139…
While I should stress these bonus points don't really convert into much as far as store credit goes, it does start to add up quite quickly. Plus, with the ever ballooning price of AAA games, any money off is a very welcome help. Wouldn't you agree?
