PlayStation users have a whole new open-world adventure to explore.
Thanks to PlayStation Plus, gamers who’ve previously missed out on Ghostwire: Tokyo can now play it for free.
Well, the cost of a subscription.

But we digress; the point here is that it’s a surprise to get this underrated banger of a game on PlayStation’s subscription service.
The new free games for November have been announced, and to our surprise, it’s another solid offering.

Could the dark days of PS Plus be behind us now? We hope so, though the lineup for December is already looking rocky.
But before we get to December there’s a whole month of free experiences in between, with three of the newest members soon becoming available for members on 4 November.
Ghostwire: Tokyo becoming available via PS Plus allows those who’ve yet to finish it a chance to reach its epic conclusion.
“I'm happy I get to finish it now. I got halfway through and got burnt out. Excited to jump back in,” revealed PM_ME_YOUR_MONTRALS, “It's one if those back burner games because the vibes are excellent but there's a lot of random stuff to collect.”

For those of you who get the feeling you’ve seen the game on PS Plus before, that’s because it was once part of the PS Plus Extra catalogue mere months ago. As a result, this decision to have it re-join the service feels “cheap” to some gamers.
However, while this may annoy the Extra members who pay more for their subscription, Ghostwire: Tokyo’s arrival potentially hints at Extra games eventually becoming available to Essential users.
User Apprehensive_You7871 suggested as much saying, “So, I guess former Extra titles might have a chance on being Essentials in the future? Not holding my breath for Tchia and Stray.”
Divisive though this month of PS Plus may be, we should all learn not to knock things before we try them.
