PlayStation quietly adds 9 free games you can download right now

Nine more games just became available

PlayStation Plus already has a substantial number of games available, yet another nine titles have been added into the mix.

Even though little ceremony was given to these newly added free games, there’s some incredible bangers not to be missed.

Arguably, PlayStation Plus Extra is one of the most cost effective options due to it regularly providing access to new titles.

Each of these PlayStation experiences are now available, and have been since 21 January.

  • God of War Ragnarök
  • Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name
  • Atlas Fallen: Reign Of Sand
  • SD Gundam Battle Alliance
  • Sayonara Wild Hearts
  • ANNO: Mutationem
  • Orcs Must Die 3
  • Citizen Sleeper
  • Poker Club

Don't forget you can also play God of War Ragnarök on PC

What is more, if you pay for the top tier of PS Plus – PS Plus Premium – then you’ll also gain access to two extra titles. These are Medievil II, and Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings.

Inevitably, God of War Ragnarök will likely draw the biggest crowd here, given its enormous popularity.

Even Kratos actor, Christopher Judge, can’t help but still be in awe of its reveal trailer, having told GAMIMGbible’s Richard Lee Breslin, “it gives me chills”.

And while a game from the franchise has been quietly cancelled, it’s a decision that seems to benefit the series rather than damage it.

But God of War isn’t the only game that will grab your attention; Citizen Sleeper is also a highly rated adventure, though one with a sci-fi rich narrative.

Described as “one of the best games” to be released in 2022, it’s an indie RPG that deserves your attention.

These aren’t the only free titles you should pay attention to though, there’s also an open-world experience that many players “regret” avoiding.

There’s something for everyone here, but if you should be particularly picky, there’s always next month’s free games to look forward to.
