PlayStation fans can get their hands on some free demos this week, all courtesy of Sony, and you don’t even need PlayStation Plus.
That’s right, if you’re not a PlayStation Plus subscriber, you still have a chance to play these games and give them a try, you just need to download them.
Take advantage of the PlayStation 5 Pro's power when you next play
While there are a wealth of demos to try, five of them are well worth your time.

First up is Extreme Cycling, which, without playing it, I’m guessing is cycling, but extreme.
I can only imagine that means lots of grazed knees, possibly a fat lip from biting the curb on a particularly extreme fall.
Amerzone - The Explorer’s Legacy is an adventure game where you’ll find yourself exploring an unknown world in a Hydraflot that looks a bit like a plane.
Following the footsteps of an acclaimed explorer sounds pretty fun. I wonder if they have a monkey companion like the best explorer, Dora.

There’s a demo for Flint, which is a turn-based tactical game with pirates as the central characters.
You will, of course, be searching for treasure, as all good (and bad) pirates often do, but getting into plenty of scraps along the way.
If you enjoy a spot of golf, and who wouldn’t, it is after all the King’s game, then grab your clubs and head out onto the links with PGA TOUR 2K25.
Swing your bat without breaking a sweat and try to get the little ball into the little hole and win a match of golf. SPORTS!

Lastly, if you’re one of those gamers who thinks developers are rubbish, then put your money where your mouth is and make your own damn game with RPG MAKER.
This one kind of speaks for itself - you can make RPGs and then play them.
Now get out of here, you’ve got demos to try.
