So after months of speculation the Nintendo Switch 2 design has been revealed. Just... not actually by Nintendo. Oops.
There have been plenty of leaks around Nintendo's upcoming console over the last few months, suggesting a full reveal is on the way, but nothing quite as substantial as what appeared online over the weekend.
Video game peripheral creator Dbrand recently posted images of its upcoming carry case for the Nintendo Switch 2. Except the images of the case also contained the Nintendo Switch 2 inside it.

The company first shared a look at the case on social media, writing: “we will not be answering any questions at this time.”
Presumably Nintendo has absolutely hit the roof over this, although the big N has yet to respond. Dbrand, however, has since confirmed to various outlets that the design in their images is the actual Nintendo Switch 2 design.
“That is correct," Dbrand CEO Adam Ijaz confirmed. "It is the Switch 2 with our Killswitch case on it (similar in principle to our Killswitch for the Steam Deck, ROG Ally, and ROG Ally X)."
The leaked design certainly matches up to previous leaks, and looks like a sleeker, chunkier version of the original Nintendo Switch. Personally I'm just happy to see Nintendo sticking with the home console/handheld hybrid concept, since it clearly works for them.

Incredibly, Dbrand hasn't taken any of these links or images down, and has seemed only too happy to admit to the fact that what they shared is the Nintendo Switch 2.
This is an absolutely remarkable way for a console to have been revealed, and I'll be amazed if the typically litigious Nintendo don't take some kind of action sooner rather than later.
