We may know that Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 is currently in development at Insomniac Games but other than that, we remain in the dark about the highly-anticipated sequel.

However, with development in its early stages, Insomniac Games is keeping information close to its chest.
As a result, many fans have expressed worry over Peter’s role in the next game, especially as he was joined by Miles Morales in the third entry.
Luckily, we have some news thanks to none other than Yuri Lowenthal himself.
Known for voicing Peter Parker in both the Insomniac Games’ titles and Marvel Rivals, Lowenthal recently spoke to The Direct about the web-slinger’s future.

When asked about how Peter’s fate at the end of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 would affect his role in future entries, the actor replied with the following:
"There are very few things that I can say about this game, but you have somehow landed on the one thing that I can answer, and that's that, yes, Peter is not gone.
He will be a part of the next game and he won't be relegated to the couch, I promise."
This is exactly what fans wanted to hear and also confirms that development for Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 is in full swing (har har).

“Thank God, Spider-Man’s always the best with Peter,” Twitter user Alio said in response to the news.
Another said: “I hope they handle him better this time around.
I'm completely fine with Miles being cool and powerful, but he shouldn't overshadow Peter. Both Spider-men should have their spotlight.”
