PlayStation Plus subscribers who play Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 can add a cool freebie to their accounts, only for a limited-time though.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has unfortunately fallen off after all the hype following its launch, largely due to the confusing lack of DLC expansions though the New Game+ update was much appreciated.
Take a look at Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 below
It’s believed DLC starring the Beetle, Carnage and more are on the cards, though at the time of writing Insomniac Games has said nothing about when we can expect them.

In the meantime though Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 can now be played for free if you haven’t swung into it already, and if you do you’ll get a neat freebie for your trouble.
The game was added to PlayStation Plus as a free trial game not too long ago, only available to those with PlayStation Plus Premium.
As part of the PlayStation Underground Autumn 2024 PlayStation Stars challenge, any play that tries Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be gifted The Vault, Issue 5 collectable for free.
This is just a digital collectable to keep on your PlayStation Stars app, it won’t do much more than that unfortunately though it’s pretty cool nonetheless.

That’s not the only game you could play either, other games like Hogwarts Legacy and Baldur’s Gate 3 are also eligible titles for the collectible.
Eventually this challenge will expire though, specifically on 30 November so users have plenty of time to give one of the PlayStation Plus trials a go, just not forever.
Out of all the eligible games I’d definitely recommend Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 over the others, it seems like it has a broader appeal.
Hopefully we get a few more updates for the game though before and after the end of the year, there are still a lot of suits that need adding to the game for a complete collection.
