There are just ten months to go until Grand Theft Auto VI is set to launch but with just two official trailers released to fans so far, we are hoping that February may just deliver the goods.

Following multiple delays, major leaks, tons of secrecy and a whole lot of waiting, Grand Theft Auto VI is finally set to launch on 19 November 2026.

Originally planned to launch in Fall 2025 and with this year marking the 13-year anniversary of the latest Grand Theft Auto entry, Grand Theft Auto V, it is safe to say that fans have been waiting a long time for the next Rockstar instalment.

As such, they are eager for any teasers whether they come in the form of promotional images, cover art, or most importantly, trailers.

At the time of writing, Grand Theft Auto VI has received two official trailers and despite the second having sprinkles of gameplay littered throughout, we are still yet to receive a trailer that focuses purely on gameplay.

With fans hoping that the third trailer will finally deliver, when we will receive it is a whole other matter.

That being said, according to PlayStation centric Youtuber MBG, February could be the month.

“A State of Play is happening mid-February,” they recently shared.

“Sony has always had a strong partnership with Take Two when it comes to the GTA series and Take Two likely views the PS5 as the main platform for GTA VI.

There's a chance it could show up.”

Could We Get the Third Trailer Next Month?

It is true that Sony has worked with Take-Two in the past and that the PlayStation 5 is one of three consoles that GTA VI will launch on, as well as the Xbox Series X and S.

So could this mean that we will receive that highly anticipated trailer as early as next month?

As an example, MBG showed an example of how Sony opened its PS5 Future of Gaming event and as you can see, it is pretty Grand Theft Auto centered.

As of now, it has not been confirmed that Sony will be featuring any Grand Theft Auto VI news at its upcoming State of Play event and with the game still ten months away, it may just be too soon.

However, with no trailer since May 2025, it is safe to say that we are long overdue so hopefully it will be Sony that delivers the goods over the next few weeks.
