Bloodborne’s DLC The Old Hunters is almost 10 years old at this point, yet one player has somehow managed to uncover one final surprise during one of the expansion’s boss fights.
Towards the end of The Old Hunters, you’ll have to tussle with Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower.
Lady Maria is not an easy boss to beat. Sure, maybe she’s not quite as hard to defeat as some of FromSoftware’s other Bloodborne bosses (like Ludwig or Orphan of Kos), but she’s definitely no pushover.

Which is why it’s extra funny that this was uncovered by a Reddit user who was actually trying to make her boss fight harder.
Take a look at the DLC in action below.
User -MonsterOck- was messing around with some friends in Bloodborne, opting to fight bosses one-on-one even though they had already summoned two other hunters to help.

Summoning NPCs or real players to help with a boss fight actually increases said boss’s health by roughly 30%, which means that if you don’t actually go through the fog gate to assist another player… you’ve essentially just given the boss a chunkier health bar and received nothing in return.
Whilst trying to pull this off, -MonsterOck- and their friends discovered something nobody else on the r/bloodborne subreddit seems to have seen before.
In a Reddit thread detailing their discovery, -MonsterOck- showed off the footage of Lady Maria breaching through the fog wall and into the open world.
This, obviously, isn’t supposed to happen - and I personally have never seen any other boss in Bloodborne do this.
There are a bunch of bugs and exploits involved with fog walls, but none of these ever cause the boss on the other side to jump-scare any players lying in wait on the other side.

Makes me wonder if this is possible with any of the other bosses in the game. Would be pretty funny to see someone take their pet Amygdala for a walk in Central Yharnam.
