Bloodborne meets Death Stranding in gorgeous new PlayStation 5 RPG

Bloodborne meets Death Stranding in gorgeous new PlayStation 5 RPG

Creepy? Check. Atmospheric? Check. Action-packed? Check.

We may never get a Bloodborne remaster, and so we have to find alternate means of enjoying its gothic delights.

PlayStation’s State of Play has been and gone, and once again there isn’t a hint of a Bloodborne remaster in sight.

Sad though this is, there’s a new PS5 RPG on the way that combines the dark aesthetic of FromSoftware’s title with the atmospheric action of Death Stranding.

The two come together to create something familiar yet unique.

It becomes Hell is Us.

A mysterious new adventure beckons in Hell is Us

“If war is the closest we get to hell on earth, it's because Earth harbours the worst of demons: humankind. In an isolated country ravaged by infighting, discover the secrets of your past and deal with the repercussions of a mysterious calamity."

The description continues, “Hell is Us is a 3rd-person action-adventure game that combines intense melee combat with the thrill of exploration. Explore a semi-open world to find answers to your questions and face mysterious creatures all along your journey.”

Gamers interested in playing this PlayStation title will find a soulslike experience, though one without a map, map markers, or compass, meaning you’ll need to have your wits about you.

Although Hell is Us doesn’t release until 2025, people are already hyped from what they’ve since thus far.

“The art direction is phenomenal... Here's hoping the rest of the game is too!!” said user @TheProdigalSaint.

Another remarked, “Looks so mysterious and cool, cant wait!!!”

Arguably the best comment that sums up the general response to the game’s unveiling is this one from @Albert_YTC: “As soon as I saw a guy in a badass poncho you got my purchase.”

Who can say no to a poncho?

Besides the 2025 timeframe, we don’t have a specific launch date yet. However, the moment that changes we’ll be sure to let you know.
