Just when you thought that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt couldn't look any better, along comes this glorious remaster that we need in our lives.

Even if you played the 2015 version of CD Projekt RED’s The Witcher 3 on the base PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, it still looks stunning. Heck, due to unparalleled wizardry, it also looks amazing on the OG Nintendo Switch.

However, The Witcher 3 looked even better, all thanks to its free new-gen update that was released in 2022 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. With all this talk of its fine visuals, let’s not forget that in terms of gameplay, story, exploration and characters, the CDPR fantasy RPG is an all-time great.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Looks Better Than Ever!

That being said, as the headline of this article clearly states, it is all about the glorious visuals of The Witcher 3, enhanced by this fan-made remaster on PC.

The remaster in question is courtesy of the YouTube channel, Digital Dreams, and to say that this version of The Witcher 3 looks better than ever before would be an understatement.

Powered by an NVIDIA RTX 5090, over 150 mods and enhanced by ray tracing, The Witcher 3 is even more of a joy to behold. If you’re able to play this version of the game, it should be more than enough to keep you busy until The Witcher 4 graces us with its presence. Who am I kidding? Any version of The Witcher 3 is enough!

What’s the story of The Witcher 3?

“You are Geralt of Rivia, mercenary monster slayer. Before you stands a war-torn, monster-infested continent you can explore at will. Your current contract? Tracking down Ciri — the Child of Prophecy, a living weapon that can alter the shape of the world,” reads the synopsis of the game.

When Is The Witcher 4 Coming Out?

At the time of writing, The Witcher 4 does not have a release date, but some expect it to arrive in 2027 or 2028. It’s currently listed to be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

As soon as that elusive release date drops for The Witcher 4, we’ll be sure to let you know ASAP.
