The phrase ‘time flies’ is always a relevant one. Can you believe that it was nine years ago that CD Projekt RED’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt first landed?
It was on 19 May 2015 that this legendary action RPG launched on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
In fact, I still vividly remember the title taking home Game of the Year at that year’s Geoff Keighley-fronted The Game Awards.

Bloodborne and Fallout 4 put up some stiff competition, as did Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and Super Mario Maker.

You’ll be pleased to know that The Witcher 3’s ninth anniversary also times nicely with a chunky new release.

Better late than never, as they say. Updated mod support is finally set to land in The Witcher 3, opening up so many possibilities.
There is already a near endless stream of The Witcher 3 mods to enjoy but just imagine the boost in quality that we’re now going to see.

New locations, new quests, new NPCs to befriend … I’m sure modders are already dreaming up an array of ideas.
