Star Wars Battlefront 3 is real, and you can play it right now if you have a decent enough PC.

Despite having two attempts at it so far, we’re yet to see a third entry in the Star Wars Battlefront series, and given the disaster that is the Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection, I don’t think we’ll be getting a new one anytime soon.

Elden Ring Shadow Of The Erdtree is available right now, and you can see our review for the DLC below

Fear not though, as fans have set out to do what developers won’t and make their own Star Wars Battlefront 3, called Star Wars Battlefront 3: Legacy, now available on PC.

You can see gameplay of the fan-made mod on YouTube and it honestly looks like everything we could have ever dreamed of for a sequel.

Worth noting that this is in the style of the original Star Wars Battlefront games, not the latest ones by EA.

As any good Star Wars game should, it features several important battles from the films, which can be fought on the ground as troopers or in the air as starfighter pilots.

The graphics have been spruced to be clearer and sharper, while retaining the classic art style that honestly hasn’t aged too badly since the original games.

In order to play the mod for yourself you’ll need a copy of the classic Star Wars Battlefront 2 on PC, then you should be able to install and merge the mod with your existing game to expand it.

It’s also worth noting that it’s still in active development, so there will be plenty of updates released over time adding new content, as well as tweaking and fixing various bugs and gameplay mechanics.

Hopefully one day an official Star Wars Battlefront 3 sees the light of day, just imagine how many characters could be in it…
