If you’re an avid Skyrim fan, you’ve likely downloaded dozens of additional quests in a bid to keep the game going for longer.

However, as you’ll have undoubtedly have discovered for yourself, not all Skyrim expansions are made equal.

That said, one mod that fans agree is a must-play is Crystal Heart.

The Elder Scrolls VI is coming. We just need to be patient.

Ashe: Crystal Heart (as is its full title) is one of the most popular NexusMods options available.

Created by Martimius, this quest is a “fully voiced” DLC that sees a new follower join you.

“Ashe is a fully voiced Breton follower wielding a heavy sword in pursuit of vengeance,” the description reads.

“With over 3,000 lines of dialogue and an evolving ethical axiom, her story offers depth unseen in Skyrim as you help fulfil her father’s wish to 'live' and 'experience' - all while grappling with her self-imposed purpose of revenge.”

Players who’ve added this fan-made experience to their vanilla Bethesda playthrough have commented on how “amazing” it is.

Even those who’ve yet to play but have watched the trailer are intrigued by this new quest.

“Time to go back to Skyrim,” posted YouTube user @servitor5435.

Wait, you’d left? We’ve been playing on repeat...

Moving on.

“This looks great! I can't imagine how much time these huge follower mods take, it is highly appreciated,” @pablodiablo314 remarked.

There’s no end of players eager to check out this newcomer of a mod.

Of course, this isn’t the only mod out there – there's also Legacy of the Dragonborn which promises to “forever change how you play”.

The Elder Scrolls VI is years away from launch, however, that doesn’t mean your next Elder Scrolls experience is.

With all of these brilliant mods, you’ll at least be entertained while you wait for the next instalment from Bethesda.

And best of all, this particular mod is available via Creation Club on Xbox as well as NexusMods on PC.
