Legions of Fallout 4 fans are set to be faced with major disappointment as one of the most highly anticipated expansions will not be playable.
Fallout: London is a total conversion mod for Bethesda’s Fallout 4 and has been in development for roughly five years. It had recently suffered a delay due to the arrival of the free Fallout 4 new-gen update but it soon got back on track as its big release draws near.

Sadly, despite tons of Fallout 4 mods being compatible with PlayStation and Xbox via the Creation Club, millions of fans are set to miss out on this content with it being exclusive to PC due to the sheer size and complexity of the expansion. However, it looks like a large chunk of PC gamers are also set to miss out because Fallout: London will not be accessible for the Epic Games Store version of Fallout 4, at least at the time of writing.
Advert
As reported by Wccftech, Fallout: London will be hosted by GOG.com, so those who own Fallout 4 via its store should have no issue getting the content to run. It’s expected that the Steam store version of Fallout 4 should have little issues but the same cannot be said for the Epic Games Store.
The issue relates to players having to downgrade the PC version of Fallout 4 and get rid of the next-gen update. By doing this, it should ensure that the mod runs as intended, just as planned before the arrival of the free update.
GOG has ensured that the previous version of Fallout 4 will be available with the mod, and Steam players should have little issue rolling back to a previous version of the game. Unfortunately, at this time, the modders of Fallout: London are reportedly not 100% sure how compatible the mod will be with the Epic Games Store version.
The Fallout: London modders are a talented bunch, so I wouldn't be surprised if they eventually find an Epic Games Store fix. They are also apparently working hard to enable Fallout: London to be compatible with the free new-gen update.

As the new mod suggests, this fan-made expansion takes wasteland explorers to London and not only is this the biggest Fallout 4 content yet, but it also promises hours of fun with new locations, quests, NPCs, newly recorded dialogue and much more.
Fallout: London doesn't have a release date yet but it is expected to drop soon. Sadly, those who play on the Epic Games Store and perhaps even Steam may have to be a little more patient.
