Hogwarts Legacy’s recent modding support update has injected the game with a new lease of life.
Unfortunately, it’s also something that can, it goes without saying, only be enjoyed by those on PC.
But hopefully, those of us on console will soon have something to enjoy too if the rumoured director’s / extended edition proves to be real.

If you are on PC though, there are so many wonderful mods you can download to extend the vanilla game, and I’d like to highlight one of those today.
‘Goblin Invaded Town’ is a new quest from modder MercerKnowIton and it’ll have you, yes, saving a town from a goblin invasion.
Hogwarts Legacy players will need to embark on four playthroughs if they want to see each of the various house common rooms.
“This once peaceful hamlet has fallen into chaos as goblins have overrun the area, wreaking havoc and destroying buildings,” the mod’s description reads.

“The inhabitants, trapped within the crumbling structures, are in desperate need of help to escape. Explore the wreckage, fight off the goblins, and rescue the survivors before it’s too late. Can you save the village from total destruction?”
Admittedly, the base game isn’t exactly short of goblin battles but hey, you may as well take on one more.
The mod is totally free to download from CurseForge.
Hopefully, as I mentioned, that rumoured director’s cut will surface soon given that it’s been over two years since Hogwarts Legacy originally launched.

It’s believed that Rocksteady Studios was drafted in to assist on the project following the disastrous launch of Suciide Squad: Kill The Justice League.
As to what it might entail, we can only theorise.
Personally, I’d love a new questline or area to explore but if we’re being realistic, perhaps it would be nice to see activities like Crossed Wands and Summoner's Court extended.
But I digress. As a reminder, if you want to nab ‘Goblin Invaded Town’, you can do so right now via CurseForge.
