With Grand Theft Auto VI’s release date being one of the most sought after pieces of information in video game history, it is easy to forget that PC gamers may be waiting even longer than the suspected Fall 2025 release.
What we know about Grand Theft Auto VI (officially) could be written on the back of a stamp as Rockstar Games is keeping the highly-anticipated game close to its chest.

We know that it will feature a Bonnie and Clyde-esque adventure with new characters Jason and Lucia and we know that it will take players back to Vice City.

However, not much else is known apart from its Fall 2025 release window.
That being said, that release window is expected to just be for Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 users and not for the PC gaming community.
In the case of Grand Theft Auto V, its PC version was released five months after the game was released on console.
However, it was reportedly meant to release at the same time but suffered from a delay.

So what about GTA VI?
Spotted by RockstarIntel (courtesy of Dexerto), Corsair Gaming’s VP of Finance and IR, Ronald van Veen mentioned Take-Two’s plan to release GTA VI on PC in early 2026.
“… GTA 6 is probably the one everyone is talking about. And we’ll get a glimpse of that, I think, later on in the year for console,” he said during the company’s Q4 earning’s call.
“My understanding now [is that] it’s going to come out in the fall for console, and then early ’26 for PC.”

This was backed up by Corsair CEO Andy Paul who agreed that GTA VI was still “likely a year away” for PC.
Of course, this information has not been corroborated by either Rockstar or Take-Two so it is worth taking with a pinch of salt.
