Oaken is a turn-based tactical roguelike set in a world of spirits where you, as the player, will have to gather allies, items, and trinkets, in order to thwart danger.
With plenty of cute heroes to use, Oaken is an engaging puzzler about placing allies and items on grids to boost each other while battling foes.
Also, available on Steam during the Autumn sale at 60% off, the game is rated as ‘Very Positive’ with many fans enjoying the visual design and the gameplay loop.
You’ll use strategy and tactics in order to progress here and while it can be tricky at first, once you’ve learned the quirks of all the moveable pieces, it’ll fall into place nicely.
