CD Projekt Red may have shifted its primary focus now that the main story of Cyberpunk 2077 is over, but that doesn’t mean you have to stop playing.
Not only can you simply keep on replaying the redeemed game as is, in its vanilla form, but you can also play Cyberpunk 2077 with the helping hand of mods.
The expansion in question delivers a new mode for you to play completely free of charge. So, once you’re done being baffled by hidden rooms and secret NPCs, you can let off some steam GTA style.

Experience greater depth in this new immersive Cyberpunk 2077 experience
Cast your minds back to GTA III, specifically its taxi quests; you can become a taxi driver once more, only this time in Night City, thanks to the ‘Taxi Work in Night City’ download.
“This mod introduces a taxi mission inspired by the GTA series. Players need to pick up the customers and drive them to their destinations. After each successful fare, players earn money based on the distance between the start and finish points.

“Consistently completing fares unlocks new vehicle options from Autofixer, enabling players to eventually own vehicles from Combat Cab.”
That little excerpt is just the beginning of how well-rounded and fleshed out this mod from RollermineC is.
When driving one of these cabs, “players can trigger ‘Taxi Work’ by honking while inside the vehicle”.
How successful your services are is largely dependent on how much you protect your fare. If they get upset and panic before entering the vehicle, or take too much damage, your stint as a taxi driver will temporarily end.

As “awesome” as this new mode is, we doubt you’ll get a Fifth Element moment where a “ half-naked Milla Jovovich” falls through the roof.
Not that you need those sort of distractions – Night City is already thrilling enough.
Put on that beaded seat cover, turn on the radio, and prepare for your fares to potentially get interesting.
