Much like factions in other RPGs, Cyberpunk 2077 gives players the opportunity to select one of three Life Paths at the start of the game which can greatly influence V’s outlook on the world.
Each Life Path - Nomad, Corpo and Streetkid - offers V a unique backstory and a slightly adjusted playthrough as you experience Cyberpunk 2077’s story.

Your choice influences more than you first think, including the prologue and your initial relationship with V’s best friend Jackie Welles, as well as the ability to select different dialogue options based on the people you meet.

However, with only three to choose from, since Cyberpunk 2077’s first release in 2020, it is safe to say that dedicated fans have already played through each Life Path.
Luckily, one modder is here to save the day and inspire a brand-new playthrough by creating a new Life Path to explore.
Created by modder Deceptious, who is highly admired in the Cyberpunk 2077 modding community, this mod is called New Lifepath Intro.
As you can probably guess, this introduces a brand-new Life Path to the game as well as a new intro that takes place before the starting in-game cinematic montage.

In this reality, V is both an ex-corpo and ex-nomad who has returned to Night City and as a result, has access to both options/choices during the game.
To make the mod work, the creator has had to disable any Life Path specific quests but if you still wish to play them, they can be re-enabled but Deceptious warns that they won’t make much sense lore-wise with the new Life Path.
New Lifepath Intro is an amazing new way to experience Cyberpunk 2077 and will add a whole new element to V’s chosen story and how they approach each situation.
Better yet? It’s absolutely free to download right now for PC users, so what are you waiting for?
