While many of us are very excited for the upcoming Grand Theft Auto VI, we’re also curious to find out what Rockstar Games might be working on next.
Could the acclaimed studio finally be returning to our beloved Red Dead franchise? Or will it be time for Rockstar to debut a new IP?
It's impossible to say, but there is seemingly something new that pertains to Red Dead on the way.

A successor to the Nintendo Switch is due to be announced imminently, with a model of the console having already leaked at the recent CES Convention.
Accessories producer Genki unveiled their Nintendo Switch 2 cases, unveiling the appearance of the console in the process.
It’s far from being the only leak though.
In recent weeks, we’ve heard plenty about the console’s supposed specs and graphical output - and now information on its launch titles is coming to light.

Pokémon Legends Z-A is one confirmed title landing on the Switch and its successor later this year.
Twitter user Bouboune0 took to social media to share information from Reddit user Still_Post_4126, writing, “Pre-made product pages for Nintendo Switch 2 console and games. We already have a list of third party studios that will support the release.”
They continued, “Usually the databases are updated around one or two weeks before being online. The reveal is imminent!”

That aforementioned third-party games list is still pretty hard to decode with titles listed as “PREREF TAKE 2 NSW2”, for example.
Reddit user MurkyInitial8534 was able to fill in some of the gaps here though as they found similar EAN’s “filed by the editors of those games” leading them to believe that Tekken 8, and more relevantly here, Red Dead Redemption 2 would be two of the titles releasing natively for the Switch 2.
Certainly, it’s not a ‘new’ Red Dead title, but this long-awaited port is a welcomed little treat.
“These Switch 2 leaks are like opening the closet and accidentally discovering your Christmas gifts, but having to wait a while to receive them,” replied fan Super_YGA_SaiyanDawg.

“Switch 2 getting the first 60fps console version of RDR2 would be hilarious,” added Chuckles7695, a sentiment echoed by many.
“All I’ve asked for is RDR2 to be ported,” commented SuperTristan2017.
Now if only Nintendo would drop that official reveal.
