Nintendo Switch users have had a Nintendo 64 classic delivered to their libraries, perfect for fighting game fans.
Not long now until the Nintendo Switch 2 comes out, bringing with it a major expansion to Nintendo Switch Online, Gamecube games.
That’s not all the Nintendo Switch 2 is bringing either, it’s a new age for Nintendo consoles
While we wait for 5 June though when the next console comes out Nintendo is still giving fans new content to enjoy as they wait for the big day.

Nintendo Switch Online subscribers can now play the beloved Nintendo 64 fighting game Killer Instinct Gold at no additional cost.
This is specifically for those who subscribe to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pass, as that’s how you get access to the Nintendo 64, Sega Genesis/Mega Drive games and Game Boy Advance titles.
Those with a normal subscription only get access to the Nintendo Entertainment System, Super Nintendo Entertainment System, and normal Game Boy games.
If you haven’t already it’s worth upgrading to the Expansion Pack, as aside from more classic games to play Nintendo has also confirmed subscribers will get free upgrades for The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild and The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom when the Nintendo Switch 2 launches.

Killer Instinct Gold is a fantastic fighting game made by Rare, with 3D graphics that still look pretty good by modern standards.
It’s worth checking out whether you’re into fighting games or just fancy experiencing some Rare/Nintendo history first-hand.
Nintendo 64 games are added so rarely too that it’s always exciting when a new one drops onto the subscription service, but hopefully the GameCube games coming with the Nintendo Switch 2 are added a bit more frequently.
It’s also worth noting that more Nintendo 64 games and titles from other consoles will continue to be adding to the service when the Nintendo Switch 2 drops.
