If you’re after free downloads for one of Nintendo’s biggest releases this year then you’re in the right place.

We always welcome free video games and DLC. Who wouldn't, right? But it's also nice to claim free downloads that allow us to represent the video games we love whether it’s Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Metroid Dread, and more.

Check out the Super Mario Party Jamboree trailer below!

The most recent big release on the Nintendo Switch is Super Mario Party Jamboree. If you’re not familiar with this series, it’s basically a multiplayer Super Mario board game featuring loads of fun mini-games, and for the first time, the latest game can be played online.

In our review of Super Mario Party Jamboree, we said: “While it can often feel like you’re being dealt a bad hand with minigames or NPC helpers, one could argue that’s part of the chaos Mario Party games are best-known for, so I’ll leave it up to you to decide for yourself if it’s your vibe.”

If you’re after all things Super Mario Party Jamboree, then you can claim these Nintendo Switch icons to proudly display on your profile for all your friends to see. However, you only have until 13 November 2024 to claim, during which time, other icons inspired by the game will arrive in waves every Wednesday.

  • Wave 1: 16 October to 23 October
  • Wave 2: 23 October to 30 October
  • Wave 3: 30 October to 6 November
  • Wave 4: 6 November to 13 November

Unlike the free default icons that can be found in the profile settings, these icons can be purchased with the free Platinum Points currency. You can earn Platinum Points by completing easy tasks such as completing Nintendo surveys.

You can access the free icons via the Nintendo Switch home screen by going to ‘Nintendo Switch Online’ and then selecting the ‘Missions & Rewards’ section. Depending on which icons you choose, they will cost five or 10 Platinum coins.

Super Mario Party Jamboree is out now on Nintendo Switch.
