Nintendo Switch 2 size comparison roasted by fans

A sad day for those with small hands

The Nintendo Switch 2 may not have been officially announced as of yet but thanks to third-party manufacturers, we already have a pretty good idea of what the successor handheld will look like.

Spoiler alert - it is pretty big.

Oh, the memories! Check out the Nintendo Switch reveal trailer below.

It is hard to believe that the Nintendo Switch is already seven years old and thanks to the latest Nintendo handheld, we have been able to enjoy games such as The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Animal Crossing: New Horizons to name but a few.

However, with technology rapidly adapting, it is time to introduce the Nintendo Switch 2.

With Nintendo not expected to officially unveil its upcoming handheld until early 2025, third-party manufacturers have taken it upon themselves to put together mock versions of the Nintendo Switch successor.

As a result, influencers have already received mock-up versions and if these are accurate in terms of measurements, people with small hands (such as myself) are in for a tough time.

Posted under the header “genuinely going insane”, BlacksmithEast1287 recently took to r/NintendoSwitch2 to share an image of the two handhelds side-by-side.

As you can see, the Nintendo Switch 2 will be a lot bigger and as a result, potential customers are feeling torn.

“So the bezels are more noticeable than the OLED like people said, but you're getting more screen real estate anyways so I don't know why some people are in a huff about it,” one comment read.

Another less positive one said: “They better make a lite, I like my handhelds to fit in my pocket and the lite is the perfect size though I wish it was a bit smaller.

If they do make a lite, it better not be the size of the OG Switch.”

It remains to be seen what the actual measurements of the Nintendo Switch 2 will be but if these leaks are correct, it seems not every customer will be happy.
