First released back in 2000, The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask is just one of many iconic entries in the beloved Nintendo franchise.

However, despite both a Collector’s Edition arriving for the GameCube in 2003 and later the The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D remake launching on the Nintendo 3DS in 2015, the much-loved Zelda game has still not managed to reach 4K.

Well, that is until now.

Courtesy of Youtuber Henriko Magnifico Showcase, fans can now get a glimpse of Link and all of his friends in 4K thanks to a short but sweet showcase.

“I'm happy to announce that my latest update for my Zelda: Majora's Mask HD texture pack, 1.3 aka "The Massive Update" is now available to everyone,” the video description reads.

Henriko Magnifico goes on to explain that this 4K remake was made possible by employing the help of their very own texture pack which includes over 500 new 4K textures, an updated user interface and a custom re-orchestrated soundtrack.

Their texture pack now also supports ReShade so you will be able to push the crisp colours of Majora’s Mask even more by adding visual enhancements such as bloom, tone mapping, ambient occlusion, depth of field, and finally, ray traced global illumination.

It is clear to see how a simple texture pack has greatly improved The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D from what we first saw back in 2015.

As a result, Henriko Magnifico Showcase has managed to put together a stunning trailer and fans of the Zelda franchise were quick to head to the comments to share their thoughts.

“I just found out about your work,” one comment reads.

“Seeing two of my childhood games getting this treatment made me super emotional. If your packs look and sound as good as these trailers, great job.”

Another agreed, adding, “Looks amazing. Really clean and colourful .”

Luckily, this texture pack is free to download and so you can experience The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D in all of its intended glory right now.
