Some Hogwarts Legacy players have discovered a secret cave that you probably haven’t been to before.
Love it or hate it, Hogwarts Legacy is almost everything a game based on the Harry Potter franchise should be, including its secrets.

Whilst exploring Hogwarts, Hogsmeade or any of the other surrounding areas you’re bound to stumble across something cool, like this building that changes its interior depending on which door you enter through.

The secret we’re talking about today though is a random cave found on a nearby coast, that a good portion of players likely never knew existed until now.
It was pointed out by Reddit user Cruise_alt_40000 who claimed to have spotted it whilst questing in Lower Hogsfield.
They said “I decided to swim across the lake towards the big rail bridge. When I got to the other side I thought I noticed a cave that had a spider web covering the entrance and decided I would check it after I went up to the rail bridge.”
The player went on to say that when they returned to the area later, they “could not find a cave anywhere,” unsure if they’d imagined it or not.

Other players chimed in saying the cave is tied to a quest that’s exclusive to those who picked Slytherin as their house.
Gryffindors, Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws can still find and enter the cave without the quest, but you’ll never be directed to it, and once you get in you won’t find anything of value since you haven’t activated the quest.
That being said, it's about the journey not the destination, and it just goes to show that there’s still plenty of things left to discover in Hogwarts Legacy’s open world, if you’re willing to put the hours in
