Hogwarts Legacy fans have discovered a spooky in-game activity perfect for the upcoming Halloween season.
Given how Hogwarts Legacy adapts to whatever season you’re playing it in, it makes it a solid game to play at any time of year, though seeing the main hall decorated with Jack-o'-lanterns is arguably the best example of this.

There’s also a free mission that should have been added to your game quite some time ago, whether you’re on PlayStation, Xbox or PC.

It’s a mission that momentarily turns Hogwarts Legacy into a horror game, with a mysterious shop filled with mannequins that move when you’re not looking at them.
Doctor Who fans may see some similarities with the Weeping Angels, as the new enemies function in the exact same way.
While many players have already seen this mission it’s fun to see what new players make of it, as it’s typically unlike anything the game has thrown at them so far.
One player on Reddit called MrOwlHero made a post saying “so when were you all supposed to tell me that this game becomes a horror game all of a sudden?” with a screenshot of one of the mannequin rooms.

It incited quite a reaction from other players, many of whom had visited the in-game location before but many were also seeing it for the first time.
One player described the side quest as best “in the entire game, hands down” and another added it’s a great mission to find randomly so it catches you off-guard.
Another unfortunate player said they’d stumbled upon it thinking it would “just be a quick easy side quest. I was wrong.”
If you’ve recently been playing the game for the first time, seek out this mysterious location in Hogsmeade this Halloween.
