GTA VI is bound to have a banging opening mission, hopefully one that’s a little more exciting than Franklin’s car-jacking in GTA V.
Don’t get me wrong it’s not lost on me to have a game called Grand Theft Auto V begin by actually stealing a car but those first couple of hours are a bit of a slog, especially on a replay.
GTA VI is looking very exciting though, and the dual protagonists should offer different playstyles to keep things fresh and interesting
As for GTA VI’s first mission we’re yet to see it because the game obviously isn’t out yet, but fans are adamant that we’ve seen a glimpse of it in the first trailer.

We see Lucia and Jason enter a store in the trailer, pointing two handguns at whoever was shopping at the time.
There’s then a quick-cut later in the trailer of the pair making a getaway in a car, which many are saying “has to be something for the early missions.”
“For me this looks more Like an Open World event yk i doubt that this is a Mission” someone argued, but personally this gives the vibe of opening tutorial, getting the player familiar with the basic mechanics and of course the main part of the game, crimes.
Another player made a good point though, saying “while no doubt this could be the first mission, it's possible a developer loaded the mission with a debug menu on a ‘fresh save’ so to say, making all the hints appear.”

It wouldn’t be a surprise if the game opened up with this mission to get players straight into the action, but for now we won’t know for sure.
We don’t have long left to wait though as GTA VI launches later this year, sometime in Fall as long as there are no delays.
