Grand Theft Auto V fans are feeling old, as Rockstar’s world-renowned game turns 10.
It’s difficult, and a little bit scary, to accept that Grand Theft Auto V came out in 2013, recently celebrating its 10th anniversary with some cosmetic freebies for GTA Online players.

While Rockstar Games and its fans celebrate the momentous milestone, many are finding it hard to believe they’ve aged so much, all whilst waiting for the next game in the series, Grand Theft Auto VI.

After GTA V released, Rockstar followed it up with Red Dead Redemption 2, but recent evidence suggests the developer had begun work on GTA VI shortly after V’s release.
If that’s true, it equals 10 years of waiting for the next game to come out, and fans are feeling its effects, as they continue to wait for an official reveal of the game, which is expected to be released in 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and potentially PC.
Reddit user Parkenev jokingly posted: “September 17 2013, GTA 5 was released 10 years ago TODAY! Feel old yet?” Fans showed their increased age in the comments, recollecting what they’ve been up to for the past 10 years, many of which finished their studies and moved into full-time employment in the time its taken Rockstar to release another GTA game.
“Since it released, I finished high school, university and did a six year military career lmao," wrote one fan. “In that time, I graduated high school, college, a masters program, got married, bought a house, had a kid. Insane," said another.

“Really old. 2013, I was prepping to travel solo across the world to Australia. And I did. And since then, I've made a point to travel as often as I can. Crazy that I brought this game to keep me busy between working long shifts," read one comment.
Grand Theft Auto VI is due an official reveal. The question is: When is it coming?
