Since the launch of Assassin’s Creed Mirage, player interest for the rest of the series has gone up by nearly 20%.
The latest game in Ubisoft’s flagship franchise, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, has been meticulously praised by both fans and critics for being the best entry in years.

This is due to it bringing back the traditional stealth and espionage gameplay, whilst updating it with a few bells and whistles fans have grown accustomed to over the years, like customisable characters and unlockable skills.

It’s also the first Assassin’s Creed game in ages to feature a reasonably sized map, with fans calling it the perfect size, since it doesn’t take you an hour to get from one side of the world to the other.
Overall, the reception has been positive, and Mirage’s popularity has seemingly rubbed-off on a few other Assassin’s Creed titles as well, many of which have seen increased player interest since the game’s launch.
According to the latest PlayStation Chart figures, it’s reported five previous Assassin’s Creed games have sneaked their way into the top 200 most popular titles, across PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
The games and their increased player interest since Mirage’s launch are as follows:

Assassin's Creed Origins- 31.16%
Assassin's Creed Odyssey- 21.11%
Assassin's Creed Unity- 20.83%
Assassin's Creed Valhalla- 16.5%

Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag- 13.67%
Why these specific titles have gained popularity is anyone’s guess, especially since three of them are part of the “RPG trilogy”, all of which except Origins are considered to be great RPGs, but terribly Assassin’s Creed games.
It’s interesting that Assassin’s Creed Unity is up there as well, especially since it’s often considered to be one of the black sheep of the franchise, largely due to its disastrous launch which was plagued by bugs and glitches. That being said, many still play the game, albeit with a few mods to improve/fix the experience.
Regardless, it’s nice to think Assassin’s Creed Mirage has introduced a few new fans to the series, as well as breath some new life into arguably one of the biggest franchises in gaming.
