Elden Ring is at the forefront of a lot of our minds right now, not least of all due to the upcoming Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. However, you may be interested to learn that this isn’t the only Elden Ring release we’re getting in 2024.
As fans gear up for hard battles against the best boss in the game, they’re missing out on other news of an Elden Ring expansion that will further build on the lore we keep deep diving into. It’s a unique move.
Kadakowa Group is behind this new endeavor, with its story about an office worker who escapes from the humdrum life into the fantastical world of Elden Ring. So far, so relatable. This novel will release in Japan late March, and as far as we’re aware, will only be available there at this time. You could pre-order it and pay for shipping, or you can wait and see if it launches here later down the line.

As for Shadow of the Erdtree, that will launch on 21 June.
