We all love a good Pokémon reveal, and lately, we’ve had some perfectly adorable ones. Pokémon Scarlet & Violet is set to introduce us to Lechonk which, yes, is a lil’ chonky pig. There’s also Smoliv, a smol olive, and let’s not forget Fidough who is a dog made out of bread. Someone behind the scenes at Pokémon is really designing these 'mons for maximum meme potential and this latest creation may just take the memeable crown. Let me introduce you to Wiglett.

Check out the trailer for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet below.

Wiglett was revealed earlier today during a Pokémon World Ecological Society showcase, via Serebii. Wiglett shares similarities with Diglett but is an entirely new Pokémon. The Pokémon acts a lot like a garden eel, keeping its body burrowed underneath the sea floor. The reason that Wiglett has garnered so much attention is because, I’ll just say it, it looks like a penis. You’re all thinking about it. Phallic symbolism has entered the realm of Pokémon. One could argue that it never really left.

As with all Pokémon reveals, the internet has responded to this NSFW creation with memes. Ah, I do love the internet sometimes. We’ve rounded up some of our favourites below.

Typically, Pokémon follow up a reveal with further information so we should learn more about Wiglett soon. Assumedly, Wiglett will be a water-type but otherwise we’ll have to wait and see what tricks this slippery fella is hiding up his … sleeve? I’ll see myself out.
