Coming to PC and consoles soon, Medic: Pacific War is a harrowing game placing players in the boots of an American field medic soldier in the horror and havoc that was the Pacific Front.
As a third-person action game, it is set in the conflict between the United States and Allied forces and Japan. Each of the areas that the medic is deployed into has its own natural environment to navigate as well as the ongoing firefight to rescue those who have been struck down. Then, it is the player's mission to identify the injuries the man has sustained, how to treat them effectively with what they've got in their bag, and whether this soldier has any chance of surviving at all.

The game has been in development for over a year now at Hypnotic Ants, however, the trailer was shown again during the PID Games Conference and has led to its recent resurfacing. Regarding the team itself, they're a group of experienced developers with credits on The Witcher 2, The Witcher 3 and Hogwarts Legacy to name a couple, and have a huge passion for historical military factual recollection and fiction.

"Your actions will affect not only the fate of the soldiers you help but also the entire operation. You will receive orders from superiors, soldiers of higher rank and seniority than you, but also requests from your companions. Remember - every life matters, but you can't save all of them," reads the description on Steam. Medic: Pacific War is on its way to PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and the Xbox Series duo at an undisclosed point in the future. However, Hypnotic Ants is a communicative developer and gave away Steam keys earlier this year. Ergo, if this game is looking like it's right up your street, it's best to keep an eye on the developer and publisher's socials for updates.
