The Star Wars sequel trilogy concluded with The Rise of Skywalker back in 2019, and since then, fans have been incredibly mixed on the whole thing, to say the least. The change of director halfway through the trilogy definitely seemed to throw things off when it came to consistency, but the conclusion could have gone very differently altogether.
Star Wars: Andor is set to premiere on Disney+ later this month - check out the trailer below.
As ScreenBinge writes, Jurassic World’s Colin Trevorrow was previously meant to be the one writing and directing The Rise of Skywalker (which would have apparently been titled Star Wars: Duel of the Fates), something which sequel trilogy star John Boyega wishes would have happened.

Speaking on the Happy, Sad, Confused podcast, Boyega said he can’t look at the leaked script, because he’d be “heartbroken.”
“I had a sit down with Colin [Trevorrow],” Boyega said. “I want to tell you, that’s one of the best Star Wars meetings I’d ever had because it felt like two nerds that were like, ‘yes, that’s what we want to see!’ […] And I saw the art, you know, Stormtrooper rebellion, I was like, that stuff was cold.
“Hopefully, Lucasfilm can give him an opportunity down the line to maybe work on something else, you know?” he continued. “Because I’m sure they would love to collaborate with him again in any capacity.”
Recently, Colin Trevorrow revealed that he’d love to see an R-rated Jurassic World movie happen: “I know I'd want to see that movie," he said. “If a parent took their kid to that movie and horrified them for life, I know that would be a problem. Look, I don't want to put any cuffs on whoever has a vision for this in the future.”
