It Takes Two, the unsuccessful marriage simulator that won multiple awards and accolades, is on its way to Nintendo Switch.
Cody and May are a couple whose relationship has hit the rocks and they tell their daughter Rose that they are going to get a divorce. The child, devastated by the news, lets her tears fall on her dolls and a magical spell transports Cody and May into the bodies of the dolls. As a co op adventure, the players must collaborate to travel through platforming sections and solve puzzles, discovering the enchanting beauty of a tiny world and repairing the rifts between the two characters.
Take a look at the trailer below:
"It Takes Two is a wonderful two-player experience, with plenty to immerse you and your co-op partner in for hours on end, whether that be at home or online. Hazelight have worked wonders in the co-op genre yet again here," said Phil in his review of the game, and if you won't take our word for it, then just scroll through the "Accolades" section on It Takes Two's Wikipedia entry. Spoiler: it will take you some time. It even triumphed over Deathloop, Metroid Dread, Psychonauts 2, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and Resident Evil Village to secure the win for Game of the Year at the 2021 ceremony.

Alright, alright already. You get it. It's a good game. The Friends Pass, which allows someone to play the co op part without needing to purchase the game themselves, will also apply here on the Switch with local wireless play, and It Takes Two will hit the portable platform in November.
