Hogwarts Legacy’s latest event, Into The Shadows, features Harry Potter veteran Tom Felton who, of course, brought Draco Malfoy to life in the original Potter films - and it’s making fans incredibly emotional.
Hogwarts Legacy may have only recently launched on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but those who have been exploring this world since the original launch back in February are craving something fresh and new. PC players, in particular, have turned to mods. Over 160 players recently joined a multiplayer session, causing absolute chaos, plus someone has created a very cool dragon mount if you want an overhauled mode of transport. Console players would like to see a DLC or expansion released, ideally focusing on Diagon Alley or the Black Lake. Into The Shadows doesn’t particularly satisfy any of those desires, but it’s nice to see a familiar face drafted back into the fold.

Into The Shadows essentially sees Felton play through Sebastian Sallow’s storyline, with the whole thing being filmed and shown on social media. Sebastian is, like Draco, a Slytherin - and his storyline is arguably one of the best parts of Hogwarts Legacy. As reported by ComicBook, Felton got pretty misty-eyed during the playthrough, adding that exploring the Slytherin common room reminded him of his childhood. In fact, he said it felt like home and needless to say, fans soon got emotional.
One YouTube user wrote under the video, “Who would have thought that Draco Malfoy would be the true hero of the Wizarding World?” while another added, “I was tearing up when I first played Hogwarts Legacy because I felt at home. Can’t imagine how overwhelming and comforting it is to someone who’s actually been part of the movies.”
Advert
In case you missed it, Harry Potter will soon be adapted into a TV show as part of a “decade-long” project. It’s rumoured that Tom Felton could actually return as Lucius Malfoy. That would certainly be a full circle moment.
