We finally got an in-depth look at the upcoming Harry Potter RPG Hogwarts Legacy in action last week, and it looks like the game is positively packed with things to do.
Hogwarts Legacy is shaping up to be the Wizarding World sim fans have been waiting for. There are classes to attend, spells to learn, and an entire region to explore that extends far beyond Hogwarts castle and its surrounding grounds.
Take a look at the game in action below!
The gameplay trailer confirmed that we'll eventually be able to explore the game's world quickly by flying, either via broomstick or a magical creature, like a Hippogriff (or hopefully a dragon by the end of the game).

Naturally, the inclusion of broomsticks has fans hopeful that Hogwarts Legacy will include some kind of Quidditch minigame. It's a Harry Potter RPG set in Hogwarts, after all, and the trailer did offer a glimpse at the school's Quidditch pitch. Surely it's a no-brainer?
Unfortunately, it sounds as if Quidditch might be one of the few side activities not on offer in Hogwarts Legacy. The game's official FAQ confirms that there are broomstick races and flying classes, but there's absolutely no mention of the popular sport.
Of course just because developer Avalanche Software isn't talking about it right now doesn't mean it's definitely not in the game.
There's a still several months to go before Hogwarts Legacy's "Holiday 2022" release - plenty of time to learn more information and drop an exciting Quidditch reveal. And if there is no Quidditch after all? Well, it still looks like a pretty massive adventure with plenty of stuff to do. I'm sure we won't miss it that much in the grand scheme of things.
