It seems that the Wizarding World of Hogwarts Legacy is a gift that keeps on giving, in particular, thanks to its modding community.
Set in the late 1890s, years prior to the events of Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts, Hogwarts Legacy sees you play as a student entering the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the fifth year, to the surprise of many students and tutors alike.

Hogwarts Legacy was released in February 2023 and while it seems that enthusiasm for the action RPG may have dwindled, we still won’t be surprised if it's mentioned amongst the of Game of the Year contenders. Thankfully, despite some fans seeing most of what Hogwarts Legacy has to offer, mods continue to breathe new life into the game developed by Avalanche Studios. One such mod is ‘The Goblet Overhaul’.

Available now via Nexusmods, The Goblet Overhaul mod offers the player a variety of difficultly settings, if you will. The difficulty settings range from ‘Goblet Easy’ to ‘Goblet Nightmare’ as well as other additional options.
Depending on which setting you choose, you can benefit from double XP, increased inventory slots for items and potions, rescue all beasts in the game, reduce cooldown periods when casting spells, unlock travel locations and much more. Obviously, with this being a mod, The Goblet Overhaul is only available on PC and not consoles, unfortunately.
In related news, fans have agreed above all else that Hogwarts Legacy needs this one major mechanic, and the Avalanche Studios action RPG remains this year's best-selling game, despite the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Hogwarts Legacy is out now on PC, PlayStation and Xbox. Following a series of delays, it is also currently scheduled to be released on Nintendo Switch on 14 November 2023.
