According to a leak, Hogwarts Legacy is brimming with things to do and people to see in an enormous map, and different houses will have different experiences and different ways to progress the main storyline. It's important to take this information with a pinch of salt, but it is intriguing.
Hogwarts Legacy is awaited with excitement by one group of Harry Potter fans and with disappointment by the other. Avalanche Software, the developer of the RPG, has said that author J. K. Rowling has very little to do with the game. Yet, head of Warner Bros. Games David Haddad expressed that Rowling is entitled to post her personal opinions on social media and the team has communicated "closely with her team on all aspects" of Hogwarts Legacy.
Moreover, those involved with the game, like actor Sebastian Croft, have been heavily criticised for undermining their support for LGBT individuals as Rowling has been described as a TERF (or trans-exclusionary radical feminist).

Simon Pegg plays Headmaster Phineas Nigellus Black in Hogwarts Legacy - check out the introduction to the character below:
With less than a month til the game launches, the controversies hang over the Hogwarts Legacy team like an albatross round their necks. This latest leak from the game's artbook will not have helped things either. We've gotten a glimpse of the world map, which is looking to be a significant space to explore every nook and cranny, and concept art of Potions, Divination and Herbology.
More specifically, the leaker alleges that Hogwarts Legacy is approximately 35 hours for the main story and 70 hours if you complete every side quest and find all of the collectibles. "Different houses will have different progressions on individual main quests, but eventually wrap up into the same result. Students from a certain house will therefore visit Azkaban briefly," read the Reddit post. No detective skills needed to work out who's dropping by the high security prison for Dark Wizards.

And, Avada Kedavra is only available through a side quest that is unlocked towards the very end of the game, so it's heartening to know that there are at least some rules in the magical school.
