When it comes to immersion, there are not many games that have nailed the feeling of escapism quite like Hogwarts Legacy, especially if you’re a fan of the Harry Potter novels and movies.
Hogwarts Legacy was initially released in February 2023 and became an instant hit. Yet, despite Hogwarts Legacy being snubbed at major events such as The Game Awards, it went on to become the best-selling game of that year and even outsold Elden Ring in just five weeks.

Whether it’s exploring the mystical halls of Hogwarts Castle or visiting the shops at Hogsmeade Village, you can feel immersed in Hogwarts Legacy without barely touching the main story missions. However, what if you could make Hogwarts Legacy an even more immersive experience and perhaps, more like the live movie adaptations?

If you were looking to make Hogwarts Legacy more immersive, then here are two mods that will pique your interest. Firstly we have the ‘Immersive Meals’ and next up, ‘Immersive Classes’, both of which are available to download now for free via Nexusmods created by icouldifiwantedto.
The ‘Immersive Meals’ mod adds NPC routines for meal time with improvements such as implementing timetables, sound effects matching up when NPCs are eating, and students entering and leaving the Great Hall to socialise and study. What’s more, when a meal is over, both professors and students will get up and leave.
As for ‘Immersive Classes’ this also adds timetables with students and professors attending up to eight classes per day and prefects will assist professors in teaching the classes. Moreover, during free periods, students will visit the Great Hall and if a student has nothing else to do, they will attend classes earlier.
It’s these kinds of mods that make me a little jealous that I’m not a PC gamer. Hogwarts Legacy is out now on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
