A recent GTA VI leak details gameplay features that further add to the assumption that this could be the biggest game ever in more ways than one.
It doesn't matter the console generation, each Grand Theft Auto entry from Rockstar Games has been huge, both in terms of scale and popularity, at least from 2001’s GTA III, and GTA VI will no doubt be no exception.
In May this year, we were treated to the second trailer for GTA VI, and it did not disappoint. It not only looked gorgeous, but it certainly gave us the impression that this entry is going to be huge, to say the least.

We already know that GTA VI will see the return of Vice City, but it’s also rumoured that we might even see Liberty City come back, the home of GTA III. Not to mention, judging from the two previously released trailers, it already looks like there’ll be loads of activities to partake in.
However, a recent rumour suggests that GTA VI could be even bigger than we all imagined, and it might be time to say goodbye to whatever social life we have.
As picked up by The GamePost (via Twitter user GameRoll in Discord), it’s claimed that GTA VI will have over 700 stores that players can enter and rob. If true, that’s quite incredible.
There will also be functional shopping malls, and for the first time in the series, it will have male strippers in clubs. What’s more, the full names of the two protagonists are reportedly Jason Duvall and Lucia Caminos.

Of course, these are unconfirmed rumours, no matter how likely they feel to be true, so we should take them with a pinch of salt until proven otherwise.
Hopefully, some of the above rumours will be confirmed either way when Rockstar Games releases the third GTA VI trailer.
Grand Theft Auto VI is currently scheduled to be released on 26 May 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Its PC release is yet to be announced.
