The elusive Grand Theft Auto VI release date.
It is what we all want to know and yet it is something that has been debated for the past decade.
Check out the trailer for GTA VI below!
With Grand Theft Auto VI just a few months away from release, fans are desperate to know which date during its Fall 2025 release window it will launch.

However, with no concrete date from Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive, it is back to the drawing board of theories, rumours and leaks.
That being said, the release date may have been staring us in the face since way back in 2013.
Spotted by one user over on r/GTA6, a poster in 2013’s Max Payne 3 featured some interesting information to say the least.
In a band poster for Love Fist, you can see a list of tour dates (and a clearer version here) and although many players would expect these to be completely random, taking a better look at the particular days mentioned is quite enlightening.

For example, 04/29 was the date that Grand Theft Auto IV was released, 05/18 welcomed Red Dead Redemption, 09/17 was Grand Theft Auto V, and 10/26 was Red Dead Redemption 2.
This leaves the first date which is still unaccounted for and it also leaves the last: 10/29.
So could this mean that we can expect Grand Theft Auto VI to launch on 29 October this year?
That would certainly line up with its Fall 2025 release window and it is a bit too much of a coincidence that all of the other dates featured line up with other Rockstar releases.

“The fact that those dates match up perfectly is insane,” the top comment by iSvad read.
Gundelf64 wrote, “This is the first insane theory I am behind. The fact that all the dates match is too hard to ignore. 10/29 it is!”
Of course, as with any GTA VI release date news, this is purely speculation and has not been confirmed by Rockstar but it is definitely not the most far-fetched theory we have seen…
