I'm sure your expectations for GTA VI were already as high as could possibly be, and I'm sorry to say a recent tease made by a developer won't help with those expectations at all.
If you can believe it, the first trailer for GTA VI was released by Rockstar Games almost a year ago now. And while fans think we're getting something new in just a few weeks, one developer has opted to send fans rabid with a slightly earlier teaser.
Ben Hinchliffe is a former Rockstar Games employee who worked on everything from L.A. Noire to Red Dead Redemption 2. While he left the studio in 2021, he did get to work on GTA VI before doing so.

In a recent interview with GTA VI O’clock (via Dexerto), Hinchliffe briefly discussed GTA VI and shared what he believes is Rockstar's priority as they work towards the 2025 release window.
Hinchliffe said he reckons the team is currently hard at work on bug-fixing and making sure everything works, which is... a safe bet, to be honest.
“I think seeing where it was when I left and playing that final version and how much, if anything, has changed. How much things have changed,” he said when asked what he was most looking forward to when GTA VI launches.
“I was privy to a lot of new things, content and story and stuff. I just love to know how that’s evolved and how it’s come out the other end.”

Hinchcliffe also teased the game's level of realism will really blow us away. Remember, this is the studio that gave us Red Dead Redemption 2, a game that's still surprising players nearly seven years later.
“You only have to look at how every game Rockstar has done has evolved in some way. You could argue that every element of the game moves forward in terms of feeling more realistic and people acting and behaving more realistic as every game is iterated through each cycle," he said.
“It will blow people away. It will sell an absolute ton as it always does. People have been taking about it for ages after GTA VI and I’m really excited for people to get their hands on it and play it, just because I think [Rockstar] has raised the bar again just like they always do.”
